Using style guides and a short questionnaire, each session is thoughtfully tailored to your family’s personalities and the stage of life you’re in. With a background as a pediatric occupational therapist and years of experience working with children of all ages, Alex knows how to meet kids where they are—turning sessions into something playful, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable. Through laughter, movement, and real connection, kids (and parents!) feel relaxed and involved, resulting in joyful, authentic moments that truly reflect your family. These beach sessions are about preserving that season while you’re in it. The laughter, the chaos, the salt in the air, and the way childhood feels a little slower by the water. (03) PREP for your sessionAs your session date approaches, you’ll receive a style guide to help you choose photograph-ready outfits, along with a short questionnaire so I can tailor your session to you and your family.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?I recommend reaching out 3–4 months in advance if you need specific weekend session coverage during peak season (October–May). That said, it’s always worth inquiring, even if you are interested in a sooner date. Weekday availability is typically more flexible and often easier to book.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
I typically deliver an average of 75–90 thoughtfully edited images per hour of active coverage. While this number isn’t guaranteed as quality always comes first, it often leans higher, I tend to capture generously throughout sessions. Your final images will be delivered in a private online gallery, making it easy to view, download, share, and print your photos with ease.
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR GALLERY?
You can expect your full gallery from portrait sessions within 4-6 weeks and often times sooner than that! Please let me know if you need your gallery sooner for a specific reason.
