I believe professional photos should be accessible for families who want to capture each season as their kids grow. Mini sessions are a shorter, more budget-friendly option offered on select dates at preselected locations, with a reduced time and curated number of images.
Mini sessions are released throughout the year, including Mother’s Day, summer childhood moments, and fall sessions perfect for holiday cards. Dates and details vary, and the best way to stay updated is by joining the mini session email list.

MOTHER’S DAY minis
There’s nothing quite like the bond between a mama and her babies—and let’s be honest, moms are usually the ones making sure these moments are captured. A Mother’s Day session is such a meaningful way to honor that connection, whether it’s a gift for a mom you love or a well-deserved gift to yourself. These are the images you’ll treasure most as the years go by.

FALL FAMILY minis
Whether it’s for holiday cards or simply capturing the nostalgia of fall with an updated family photo, this season is by far the most popular for family sessions. That’s why I offer multiple mini sessions at various locations and dates throughout the fall, with a few pricing options to make it easy for families to participate.

The Process ofMINI sessions
(01) dates & Info releasedDates and details will be shared here. Join the email list to be notified first! You’ll be able to select your preferred date, location, and time slot, and secure your session all at once with a signed contract and deposit.
(02) sessionBefore your session, you’ll complete a short questionnaire and receive a link to the style guide. On your chosen date and time, you’ll arrive to the location with specific info provided on meeting up, then Alex will guide you with gentle prompts to capture natural, authentic laughter and genuine smiles from the whole family.
(03) Select your photosAfter your session, you’ll receive a full gallery of edited photos. Depending on your session type, a set number of images will be included for you to choose your favorites. Once selected, your photos will be ready to download within 24 hours. If you’d like to keep the entire gallery, an upgrade option is available.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?November is the busiest family photo month, and sessions fill up fast. To secure a high-demand date or popular location (i.e. Kraft Azalea Garden) it’s best to book early. I highly recommend joining the email list to select your first choice location and date.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
The number of photos included in your session varies based on the specific date and session offering. Upon booking the number of photos included will be clearly stated and upgrading to purchase the full gallery is always an option.
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR GALLERY?
While the contract notes a 4–6 week turnaround for galleries, families planning seasonal photos, like for Christmas cards, are prioritized so that any selected session date will have images ready in time to order and send cards before the holiday.

Becoming a mom has made it so clear just how quickly childhood passes. I already know I’ll look back on photos of my child with deep nostalgia, holding onto those fleeting stages that change far too fast. I also understand how much it already takes just to get the whole family in the same place on the same date for photos, which is why I believe family photos should be accessible and realistic, not something that only happens once every few years.
These seasons are too precious to miss. Professional photographs preserve the tiny details and emotions in a way iPhone photos simply can’t, allowing you to keep capturing your children as they grow and honoring each chapter as it unfolds.
